About the Designer
AZIZ REBAR is an emerging avant-garde fashion brand founded by Kurdish-Iranian designer Aziz Rebar, based in Germany. His creative approach combines architectural precision, sculptural silhouettes, and emotional storytelling, transforming garments into expressive works of art.
Born in Iran and raised in Germany, Aziz Rebar developed his passion for fashion through his father’s traditional tailoring background. Initially studying mechanical engineering, he later transitioned into fashion design, bringing his technical mindset and understanding of structure into his creative process.
After studying Fashion Design at Pforzheim University of Design and gaining experience through an internship with designer Hussein Chalayan in London, Rebar developed a distinctive aesthetic focused on innovation, craftsmanship, and the relationship between body and garment.
His designs have attracted international attention, with custom creations worn by artists such as Lady Gaga and Björk. In 2026, AZIZ made its official Paris Haute Couture Week debut with the “Aether” collection, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and freedom through sculptural and fluid designs.
