About Us

Maison Février is a historic Parisian atelier specializing in plumasserie — the art of fine feather craftsmanship — with a legacy dating back to 1929.

For over 90 years, the house has been creating exceptional, handcrafted feather pieces, combining traditional savoir-faire with contemporary innovation. As one of the last remaining feather ateliers in Paris, Maison Février represents a rare and highly specialized expertise within the luxury and haute couture industries.

Acquired in 2009 by the Moulin Rouge group, the Maison continues to preserve and elevate its craftsmanship, earning the prestigious “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV)” recognition from the French government — a distinction awarded for excellence in traditional and industrial savoir-faire.

Throughout its history, Maison Février has collaborated with some of the most iconic figures and institutions in fashion and entertainment, from Josephine Baker and Mistinguett to couture houses and stage productions such as the Moulin Rouge, Lido, and Folies Bergère.

Today, the atelier continues to serve luxury fashion houses, designers, artists, and private clients, pushing the boundaries of feather artistry across fashion, design, and performance.
